3, 2001 MetraTech, a leading Web services-based billing,
revenue sharing and customer care software provider, today announced that
ACT Teleconferencing, Inc. (Nasdaq: NM-ACTT), a full-service global provider
of audio, video, data and Internet conferencing products and services,
has deployed MetraNet as the billing and revenue sharing backbone for
its conferencing communications solutions. MetraNet's Web services architecture
and "configure, don't code" methodology provides ACT with the
power to implement innovative, flexible pricing plans for new combinations
of conferencing services in hours instead of months. "MetraTech helped us shave about a month off our
billing cycle, reducing the time between the conferencing event and billing
from 30 days to one. Its also made us much more flexible in how we bill
for our audio, data and video conferencing services," said Mark Kelly,

quickly as possible across worldwide locations, and to bill for those
