EchoStar presents MetraTech with Vendor Award for Fastest Implementation of a Major IT Project

Englewood, Colorado February 14, 2006 - MetraTech Corp., the leading provider of Web Services-based billing, customer self-care, and partner management solutions, and EchoStar Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: DISH) and its DISH Network have announced that MetraTech has successfully completed a project to deploy MetraTech’s MetraNet platform to deliver the service activation, provisioning and subscriber management functionality required to support a key service offering in late 2005.

The deployment required MetraNet’s integration with EchoStar’s DISH Network existing IVR, service delivery and legacy billing infrastructure and was completed in record time.
