Scott brings more than 20 years of software and services industry leadership to MetraTech. Scott founded MetraTech in 1998, after spending time at NetCentric, an early entrant in the business of cloud computing and where he created the industry’s first SGML/XML billing protocol. Prior to NetCentric, Scott was a Director at Cambridge Technology Partners, a pioneer in the delivery of client/server solutions for large enterprises. At CTP, he led the deployment of complex customer care, billing, and logistics solutions for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies. He has been named a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum and is a Director of the Massachusetts Network Communications Council. Scott holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering from Harvard University.
VP EMEA Sales
Charles Jarvis is responsible for sales in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to MetraTech, Charles was with Platform Computing, a cloud management software company that was acquired by IBM. He was Vice President of Sales, EMEA for Platform's Financial Services division. Prior to IBM, Charles was Vice President of Sales and Business Development, and EMEA for Tangosol Inc., later acquired by Oracle Corporation as part of their Fusion Middleware Division. At Tangosol he established EMEA wide sales and partner channels. Charles also established Tangosol's U.K. Limited's company operations.
VP North American Sales
Barbara is a widely recognized expert in the billing and Business Support Systems (BSS) industry, and leads the North American team driving new account acquisition and revenue growth for MetraTech. Prior to joining MetraTech, Barbara was President of LTC International, a company providing specialist consulting and advisory services. During her leadership, Barbara led multi-year consulting engagements with Nortel Networks, Cisco Systems, and Electronic Data Systems. Prior to LTC, Barbara served as General Manager of Billing and Customer Care Systems at Bell Sygma and as Director and Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific, for Bell Canada International. Throughout her career, Barbara has been an active contributor in the technology, media, and telecommunications industries, and has served on the Executive Council of the MetroPlex Technology Business Council, the largest high tech trade group in Texas. Barbara has an advanced diploma in Business Administration from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology and is a member of IEEE.
Ted is a licensed CPA with more than 30 years of senior management experience in public and private companies including leadership in the growth and financing in Internet, software and hardware, and professional services industries. He joined MetraTech from Cambridge Research & Instrumentation, a software and hardware instruments company, where he successfully drove a turn-around, revenue growth and company acquisition by Caliper. Prior to that, Ted was Vice President of Finance and Vice President Controller with GTE Technology/BBN Technologies renowned for pioneering the Internet, cyber security, and advanced mission critical software and internetworking platforms. Ted started his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Management, with high distinction, from Babson College and also attended MIT’s Sloan School of Management, Executive Program in Business Management. Ted passed the Certified Public Accounting exam on his first sitting with special recognition.
Esmeralda has spent 15 years as a marketing, product management, and business development technology executive bringing disruptive technologies and companies to market. Esmeralda is responsible for go-to-market strategy and execution, product marketing, product management, business development and partner programs. Prior to MetraTech, Esmeralda was co-founder, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Lightwolf Technologies, a big data management startup. Esmeralda was previously co-founder and Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development of Soapstone Networks, a developer of OSS software, now part of Extreme Networks (Nasdaq:EXTR). At Avici Systems (Nasdaq:AVCI), Esmeralda was Vice President of Marketing for the networking pioneer from startup through its successful IPO. Early in her career, she was a Director at IDC, where she led the network consulting practice and worked with startup and leading software and hardware companies, and Wall Street clients on product and market strategies. Esmeralda holds a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Marketing and International Business from Northeastern University.
