MetraTech's management team has an extensive background in billing systems, Web services, Internet product development, enterprise software, mobile business solutions and Fortune 500 consulting. They have worked in companies such as Cambridge Technology Partners, Lucent, 3COM, MaxBill, Ltd., Scitex Corp., Groupe Bull, Teloquent Communications Corp., EC Cubed, MCK Communications, eDial, Liberty Financial Lucent, CSG Systems, Comverse Technologies and Kenan Systems.

Scott Swartz, Founder, President,
and Chief Executive Officer

Prior to founding MetraTech in 1998, Scott was director of business development and product marketing at NetCentric, a developer of carrier-class Internet fax systems. While at NetCentric, he negotiated a strategic equity partnership with Compaq; produced the first SGML/XML billing protocol; and developed an Internet fax application, which was selected as one of the top 3 Web communications packages of 1997 by PC Computing. Previously, Swartz was an associate director at Cambridge Technology Partners, where he was responsible for the implementation of billing and information management systems for Fortune 500 customers. Most notably, he led the deployment of complex customer care, financial, billing, logistics and inventory systems on behalf of Air Products, which was selected as one of the top 50 client/server implementations by InfoWorld. Scott holds a bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, and systems engineering from Harvard University. He was recently named one of the Technology Pioneers for 2002 by the World Economic Forum and is currently a member of the board of directors for the Massachusetts Telecommunications Council (MTC).

Doug Zone, Chief Technology Officer

As Chief Technology Officer, Doug is responsible for the company’s technical direction and product strategy. Doug has played a major role in developing, designing and implementing major enterprise solutions for telecommunications companies since 1992. Beginning with one of the first product-based billing solutions in Europe with BT in 1993, Doug has contributed to BSS projects in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Australia and Asia. He has worked for Kenan Systems, Lucent, Maxbill and most recently as chief technology officer, EMEA at CSG Systems and Comverse Technologies. Doug is an MIT graduate with a Master of Sciences with a specialization in Optimization and Finance. He began his career as a financial statistician at the International Monetary Fund and optimization programmer/analyst at United Parcel Service. He currently lives in the United Kingdom, but has worked in Madrid, Buenos Aires, Singapore and Boston at various points in his career.

Vladimir Mitrasinovic, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development

Vlad joined MetraTech in November 2003 as Managing Director EMEA. Through his vision and leadership MetraTech extended presence in Europe and developed Channel Partners. As Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development, he will focus on MetraTech's worldwide growth plan and further partner development. He brings more than 15 years of global sales and business development experience to the Company. Vlad has held a succession of leadership roles in the billing applications industry before joining MetraTech. Previously, he was managing director at MaxBill, Ltd., where he developed, led, and implemented comprehensive business strategies to establish high growth sales in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Before this, Vlad was director of customer service at Scitex Corp. where he developed and executed strategies that resulted in significant global expansion. In addition, he has held various positions with Groupe Bull, formerly Honeywell Information Systems. Vlad earned a bachelor's of science degree in computer science from Belgrade University, Yugoslavia.

Gerald Rush (Jerry), Chief Financial Officer

Bringing more than 20 years of senior management experience including leadership in the growth and financing of private and public companies in the e-Business, software and financial services industries, Jerry is responsible for the company's financial management including financial planning and investor financing as well as managing relationships with outside legal and financial partners. Jerry joins MetraTech Corp. from Teloquent Communications Corporation, a leading supplier of advanced contact center software, where he successfully led the company to an acquisition by Syntellect Inc. in December, 2003. His professional experience includes several public offerings and M & A transactions with companies in the high tech and financial services industries. Prior to joining Teloquent, Jerry was CFO at EC Cubed, Inc. and before that served as VP of Finance at Liberty Financial Companies. In addition, Jerry has held management positions at Resource Dynamics, Inc., Acton Corporation and Price Waterhouse. He holds a master's in finance from Northeastern University and a bachelor's in economics from the University of Massachusetts.

Mark Dudman, Senior Vice President of Engineering
and Technical Operations

Mark brings to MetraTech more than 15 years experience in the software industry. He is responsible for managing MetraTech's engineering and technical operations organizations. In engineering Mark's responsibilities include software development, quality assurance, documentation, and helping to define MetraTech's technology and product roadmap. Mark is also responsible for all of MetraTech's technical operations, including managed billing operations, data center operations, customer support, and internal Information Technology. Mark comes to MetraTech from MCK Communications, Inc., where he was vice president of software development. In that role, he was responsible for software development, release and maintenance across all product lines and for managing development teams in Boston, Dallas and Calgary. Previously, Mark was vice president of research and development at eDial, where he took the product, a SIP-based audio conferencing server, from conception to a fully functional and Internet scaleable product offering. Prior to eDial, Mark spent four years at Comverse Networks Systems, a unit of Comverse Technology, Inc. As the company's senior director of research and development for the Asia Pacific Region, he managed two software development centers and delivered large ($32M+) software projects for domestic and international customers. His previous experience includes various engineering and management positions at Siemens Medical Systems, Mainstream Software Corporation and General Electric Aerospace. Mark holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Andrew Wellnitz, Vice President, Services

Andrew manages MetraTech's Services organization which includes consulting, consulting quality assurance, training, and customer success. He has a wealth of experience in working with billing solutions having spent a decade in the product billing space. Prior to heading the Services organization, Andrew sponsored the creation of MetraTech's Customer Success program. Andrew began his work with MetraTech within the business development organization and was responsible for many of MetraTech's initial partnerships with third party software vendors including Microsoft and with systems integration partners. Prior to joining MetraTech, Andrew was in charge of the U.S. channel sales efforts for 3Com Corp.'s service provider division. Prior to 3Com, Andrew lead Kenan Systems' (later Lucent's) Americas' market development efforts with mobile service operators and was instrumental in its early successes in the space including a win with one of the world's first MVNOs. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Colby College.
