Scott Swartz, Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer

Scott SwartzScott brings more than 15 years of software and services industry leadership to MetraTech. Prior to founding MetraTech in 1998 he was Director of Product Marketing and Business Development at NetCentric, a provider of carrier-class Internet fax systems. As an early developer at NetCentric he created the first SGML/XML billing protocol and produced an award winning Internet fax application. Previously, Scott was a Director at Cambridge Technology Partners, the pioneer in the delivery of client/server solutions for large enterprises. Most notably, he led the deployment of a complex customer care, billing, and logistics solution for Air Products, which was selected by InfoWorld as one of the top 50 client/server implementations. He has been named a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum and is a Director of the Massachusetts Network Communications Council. Scott holds a bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, and systems engineering from Harvard University.


Vladimir Mitrasinovic, Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development

Vladimir MitrasinovicVlad brings more than 20 years of global sales, business development and operations experience in the communications, utilities and government sectors to the company. He is responsible for all sales, marketing and business development activities at MetraTech. As leader of business operations Vlad is focused on implementing channel and vertical solution strategies. Prior to joining MetraTech he was managing director at MaxBill Ltd., where he developed, led, and implemented comprehensive business strategies to establish high-growth sales in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Before this, Vlad was director of customer service at Scitex Corp. where he developed and executed strategies that resulted in significant global expansion. In addition, he has held various positions with Groupe Bull, formerly Honeywell Information Systems. Vlad earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from University of Belgrade and is presently completing a Masters Degree in Business Law from DeMontfort University in the UK.


Mark Dudman, Executive Vice President of Engineering and Technical Operations

Mark DudmanMark brings to MetraTech more than 20 years experience in the software industry. He is responsible for managing MetraTech's engineering and technical operations organizations. In engineering Mark's responsibilities include software development, quality assurance, and helping to define MetraTech's technology and product roadmap. In technical operations Mark’s responsibilities include managed billing operations, data center operations, customer support, and internal Information Technology. Mark came to MetraTech from MCK Communications, Inc., where he was vice president of software development. In that role, he was responsible for software development, release and maintenance across all product lines and for managing development teams in Boston, Dallas and Calgary. Previously, Mark was vice president of research and development at eDial, where he took the product, a SIP-based audio conferencing server, from conception to a fully functional and Internet-scalable product offering. Prior to eDial, Mark spent four years at Comverse Networks Systems as the company's senior director of research and development for the Asia Pacific Region. His previous experience includes various engineering and management positions at Siemens Medical Systems, Mainstream Software Corporation and General Electric Aerospace. Mark holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Rochester Institute of Technology.


Doug Zone, Chief Technology Officer

Doug ZoneDoug has played a major role in developing, designing and implementing major enterprise billing solutions since 1992. Beginning with one of the first product-based billing solutions in Europe with British Telecom in 1993, Doug has contributed to BSS projects in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Australia and Asia. He has worked for Kenan Systems, Lucent, CSG Systems and Comverse Technologies. Doug is considered one of key expert in billing across multiple verticals including Telecommunications, Finance, Public Sector, Business Process Outsourcing/Cloud and Utilities.  Doug is an MIT graduate with a Master of Science with a specialization in Optimization and Finance. He currently lives in UK, but has worked and has ties in Dublin, Madrid, Buenos Aires, Singapore and Boston.


Gerald Rush (Jerry), Chief Financial Officer

Gerald RushBringing more than 30 years of senior management experience including leadership in the growth and financing of private and public companies in the e-Business, software and financial services industries, Jerry is responsible for the company's financial management including financial planning and investor financing as well as managing relationships with outside legal and financial partners. Jerry joined MetraTech Corp. from Teloquent Communications Corporation, a leading supplier of advanced contact center software, where he successfully led the company to an acquisition by Syntellect Inc. in December 2003. His professional experience includes several public offerings and M & A transactions with companies in the technology and financial services industries. Prior to joining Teloquent, Jerry was CFO at EC Cubed, Inc. and before that served as VP of Finance at Liberty Financial Companies. In addition, Jerry has held management positions at Resource Dynamics, Inc., Acton Corporation and Price Waterhouse. He holds a master's in finance from Northeastern University and a bachelor's in economics from the University of Massachusetts.


Chevy Vithiananthan – Vice President, Professional Services

Chevy VithiananthanChevy is responsible for the company’s global Professional Services Group. He brings to MetraTech over 17 years of leadership experience in professional services, corporate strategy, business development, and application strategy and development. He has an extensive background working with both startups and large multinational firms in North America, Asia, Europe, and Latin America - including some of the world’s largest telecom, e-commerce, and digital media providers. Chevy’s professional expertise spans high-volume systems design, implementation, integration, test, production operations, and ongoing maintenance. Most recently, Chevy managed a 100-plus-person professional service and application delivery team across the Americas for Comverse Technologies. His past clients have included eBay, British Telecom, France Telecom, Optus Communications, Embratel, and BellSouth International. He holds both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


Larry Ayres, Vice President, Engineering

Larry AyresLarry is responsible for MetraTech’s Research and Development organization as the Vice President of Engineering. His development background comes from Comverse where he was responsible for R&D of the media server, line cards and Signaling groups, development of a mobile game business unit, and leader of $200M in product revenue. Larry is a telecommunication veteran in the software industry with a proven track record to grow organizations with innovation and quality. He has managed multi-national teams of over 225 people for both Comverse and Boston Technology where he was responsible for the development organization of one of the World’s largest and most complex global voicemail systems.  Larry brings with him over 20 years of management experience in the software and hardware industries. He additionally holds several US patents related to the telecom sector. Larry received his MBA from Syracuse University and earned a BS in EE from Rochester Institute of Technology.


Bob Clancy, Vice President, Human Resources

Bob ClancyBob is responsible for the company’s HR initiatives on a worldwide basis. He brings to MetraTech over 23 years of progressive Human Resources experience with the majority of this experience being with high-growth technology companies. Previously Bob was Vice President of Human Resources for MRO Software, now part of the Tivoli division within IBM. While at MRO, he supported the worldwide growth of the company from 150 to 925 employees. Previous to MRO, Bob built the HR department as the first Human Resources professional for Progress Software and helped grow the organization to 800 employees throughout the world. Both of these organizations sold software, provided implementation services and supported a growing customer base. Previously, he held HR roles at ImagiTex, Inc. and GCA Corporation. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Lowell.
